STEM

Welcome to STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths!

At Lyng hall school we focus on the holistic development of our pupils. Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) provide an excellent platform to further develop our pupils interests. We want our students to grow in confidence with STEM topics and develop practical skills beyond what is taught in the classroom. These activities are run in house in the form of our after school clubs, but also by visits to local attractions and workshops delivered by external providers. We have successfully entered local and national competitions but the most important part of our STEM provision is for children to enjoy STEM activities and build their confidence and make friends.

STEM at Lyng Hall is split into 4 component parts:

  • Science club
  • Robotics club
  • 3d Design and printing
  • Horticulture

We also will be launching STEM at home very soon where you can try out some fauna dn exciting projects out of school and show us the results!
