Welcome to the Humanities department 

The Humanities Directorate includes the subjects of Geography, History, RE, Child Development, Law & Health & Social Care . This wide range of subjects means that the department itself is as diverse as the students we teach. However the one thing that all the subjects have in common is the study of role of people in relation to others.  As such within the department we strive to support each other whilst encouraging our students to become good global citizens, respectful of each other’s beliefs and values, who show consideration towards each other and the environment
