Year 10 Mock Exams

As you are aware from our last letter, we have now launched our #Class of 2027 Strategy, which is designed to support Year 10 students as they make crucial preparations for their GCSE examinations over the next year.

As part of the Strategy, students will sit a series of mock examinations in June. These practice exams are an important step in preparing for GCSEs and provide valuable experience of working under exam conditions.

We encourage all students to prepare seriously for these mocks, as the feedback gained will guide their learning moving forward. Success comes when school and home work together to support students in making the right choices, building independence, and understanding how to revise effectively.

As well as resources provided by our subject teachers, students may find the following websites helpful for independent study and revision at home:

During the Mock exams, students will be allowed to leave school early at the end of the day once their afternoon exam is finished. This would not be before 2:30pm. If a student needs to stay in school please contact Miss McGuiness as the Pastoral Year Coordinator for Year 10.
