College System

The college system is part of the school’s positive behaviour strategy but it does not involve any disciplinary procedures. The college system will contribute to our ethos by recognising the value of collective effort and responsibility. There are four colleges: CENTAUR, DRAGON, GRIFFIN & PEGASUS

All students and staff will be a member of a college. Students will contribute to their overall college profile through points that they can gain for:

• Attendance
• Good conduct
• Participation in period 6
• Membership of teams, clubs, groups and events
• Contribution to the school

There will be a student leadership team drawn from all the colleges. Colleges will be involved in charity work and will have opportunities to act as ambassadors for the school both in school, within the MAT and more widely.
